A message from Richard and Carol's web master - Langdon Stevenson

It is with great sadness that I write here that Richard and Carol Green passed away this weekend when their helicopter crashed, while on a trip in New South Wales.

As Richard and Carol handled all of the orders for their book Remote and Wild personally, there is currently no-one able to process new orders. So for now I have removed the purchase links from the site.

I have spoken with Richard and Carol's family and they have told me that they would like to continue making the book available to purchase, however it will take them some time to sort things out and be ready to process any new orders.

I would ask anyone seeking a copy of Richard's book to feel free to email me your name, and a contact phone number (webmaster@richardgreen.net.au). I have been collecting book requests this week, and am now passing them on to Richard and Carol's family who will be in touch in the future

In the mean time, I would ask for people's patience and respect for this tragic loss to Richard and Carol's families, to Australia, to the environment that they cared so much about, and to the world.

RIP Richard and Carol. My good friends.
